Bio Green 120v Stainless Steel Waterproof Heater

I bought this heater several weeks ago to keep my greenhouse warm overnight in cool or cold temperatures. I specifically bought this one as it is listed as water spray-proof and I have spray /drip irrigation in my greenhouse. When I read the instructions, it was written in the warnings that spray and water should be avoided, so I was confused. After emailing ACF a few times, they confirmed that the packaging and website indications of water spray-proof were correct. I still don't know why the user manual contradicts the packaging and website. So far the heater has been working fine. I wish I would have is that the blower itself turns off after a certain time. I may consider a separate thermostat that will act like an on-off switch to handle that wish. So far I rate the product with 4 stars. The confusing instructions less so, but they do not affect my opinion f the product itself. The response from ACF to my questions is just under 5.

I got this for my little cedar greenhouse (about 100 sq ft area) in southern Alabama this winter. It kept the temperature above freezing during our coldest nights when the outdoor temps were as low as 19 degrees. I'm running the heater now because I started my veggies seeds this month and it's doing a great job. I like the design and safety features. I may get another one for my pump house.

I ordered two. One was damaged and didn't work, but the other is working fine.

This little heater seems to be working great and keeping my 10' X 12' greenhouse at 50-degrees F. Coldest we've had here so far is 32-degrees F.

I have been very pleased with this little heater! We had 3 nights in a row where it got down to 15-18 degrees and I was so worried, but the heater kept pumping out the heat and kept my little greenhouse at about 45.

I'm pretty satisfied with this product. I bought two, but I'm only using one at the moment. Both have been tested. But I'm really satisfied with ACF's service.

I have a very basic hoop house with no insulation. I purchased this heater to keep the temperature in the house between 35 - 40 degrees F on nights the outside temperature is below freezing. This heater did a great job doing that - and my electric bill was not too high.

 

We purchased this 120v Stainless Steel Waterproof Heater to help extend the growing season in our 12' x 32' greenhouse in Tennessee and are very happy with it's performance. So far in mid-December in zone 6, it has helped keep our greenhouse 10+ degrees above the outside temperature, which is enough for our tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, lettuce, herbs, lemon trees, avocado trees, and flowers to keep growing. We did purchase the plug in thermostat to help us regulate the temperature, turning the heater on and off as needed. We are very pleased with both purchases.

This is the second one of these heaters I have purchased for my greenhouse. They work well and are really quiet! I use it with the SureStat TS116 Plug In Portable Thermostat Control, which also works great!

Works great. Was hoping there would be a mode of operation in which the fan and the heating element cycled on and off together, as in its' larger cousin, so that the fan would not run all the time, but guess that must be a function of its' very compact design. No problems.
