As kits go, its one of the better ones that I've seen. I had a carpenter put it together. He ended up using better and longer screws than what came with the kit in many places. Even replaced some in the roof with nuts and bolts. He had trouble getting the kit perfectly square before screwing it down to the deck that was built for it. I would suggest very strongly caulking EVERY panel to the frame, inside and out. That give you water and air sealant protection. I have had two custom greenhouses built that I designed in the past for my small nursery, so I had a real good idea of what works and doesn't. This one is just for my personal plants since I retired. Because we have a lot of storms in S. Louisiana, I also had strapping attached to the frame, side to side and fastened down to the deck in 3 different places. The down spout for the gutter system seems way too small but Im use to a full size gutter to take my roof water into a rain barrel. We will see when we have our first good rain. We've done everything to make it as secure as possible. Preplanning the construction made a big difference. Time will tell if I love it or I regret it.
My Grow More greenhouse is now 8 years old, and well used. I can't believe what amazing condition it is in! Thank you ACF for using such high-quality materials!
The manufacturer suggested two days to build which was about right for assembly of the greenhouse. It took another day preparing the spot where it is located. Because the instructions are all pictographs, it is important to layout all parts by the parts list. We ran into a little confusion in a few areas but quickly realized where the mistake was made. The unit is very sturdy, and all in all I am very pleased with this greenhouse and would purchase it again.
