Got unit, tested it; tube didn't seem to work. Called company; they sent me a replacement tube (for FREE) immediately!

They install very easy. I like them, because when the wind is strong, you can disable them from opening the windows

I installed this on an Aluminum Framed 6' x 6' greenhouse in SW Ohio.

Installation instructions were easy to follow.

Functions as stated. Vent opens on sunny 25 degree days with out a problem.

Closes tight at night.

I will be making a new lower greenhouse mounting plate out of CRS to minimize flex (personal preference)

If you don't have electricity in your greenhouse but still want to open windows or vents on hot days, then these automatic openers are great. I made a couple of windows out of twin wall polycarbonate and figured out a way to attach everything. The strut starts opening the window at the described temperature, 65 degrees F, and gradually opens to full range at the high end of the temperature range.

They are universal, so making them work with your specific application requires some planning and a little creativity.

Have used these 2 years. Completely satisfied. Intended for roof vents, but I install them horizontally to open doors on my hoop house. One got damaged accidentally by a neighbor so I replaced it. ACF Greenhouses gave quick service. Thank you.
