This filter has not been installed yet, but is a replacement for one. It keeps the rust out of the misters.

So easy to hook up between hose and misting system, working as advertised, no clogs. I have used a misting system before without this filter, after a couple months the system stops working, I have very hard mineral rich water that clogs the misters, and this seems to be preventing that. Very glad to have this, and it is supposed to last a year, which is great.

I use this filter outside along with a water timer and the filter prevents hard water buildup on the nozzles of the misting system. I change the filter about every 6 months and everything works smoothly.
