    This light system utilizes high output T5 LED light bulbs and a highly reflective hood to provide an excellent light source for growing plants. LED lights are also among the most efficient and coolest running grow lights available.     Growing Area
    The growing areas listed above assume the light bulbs are being used in a fixture
    with a reflector similar in quality to the ones offered on this web site.
    Primary - Use this area if the grow light will be the main or only source of light for the plants. This includes areas where minimal light comes from windows or standard house/office lights.

    Secondary - Use this area if the grow light will be used in a greenhouse or other area that receives direct sunlight for part of the day to supplement the grow light.

    How Long Should Grow Lights Run?
    This depends on the type of plant. Foliage plants need about 14-16 hours of light per day. Flowering plants need 12-16 hours of light per day. You should give most plants at least 8 hours of total darkness daily. Try to have the lights on at the same time every day. Using an automatic timer for your lights is recommended to make it easier.
    The Electrical Cost to Run a Grow Light System
    To get the operating cost per hour for a light, take the lights combined wattage, and divide it by 1000 to get the kilowatts used. Then multiply that number by the amount your electric company charges per kilowatt hour. HID lights will use the number of watts it emits per hour, ie; 600w system will use 600 watts per hour (regardless of spectrum).
    (light wattage output / 1000) x electricity cost per kilowatt hour = Operating cost per hour
    operating cost per hour x hours used per month = Operating cost per month

    Sun Blaze LED Plant Grow Lights

    The company replaced 2 that failed almost immediately due to bad ballasts. Other than that I think they put off a lot of heat and fried some of my seed trays. I’ve tried adjusting the distance off the tray which of course helps, but I still think they run hot. I have the LED’s.

    So Far, Good Product

    Purchased this after the compact fluorescent bulb fixture we used for 3 years for a meyer lemon tree died. Not sure if it was the bulb or the fixture. Anyway, this LED light produces a slightly larger well lit area and "Liz" is very healthy and happy! Thanks ACF for the nice discount you gave for the defective bulb and the quick shipping! Great customer service!

    Amazing

    I have been looking for these lights for a long time. They are light weight, bright and my plants love them. It has been only a couple of weeks and I can see improvement in plants leaves. Great investment

    Utter dangerous trash

    Do not buy these unless you plan to be at home all the time. On multiple occasions these things cought fire. Extremely dangerous.

    This is my second unit and I love it. Great product with great customer service.

    Glad I bought these

    I'm new to indoor growing and seed starting. I had purchased some "full spectrum grow lights" on Amazon and used them to start some tomatoes and pepper seeds inside. The plants were thin and leggy. I bought the Blaze LED 4', 4 bulb light and tried again. My plants are very healthy with thick bases and lots of foliage. What a difference! I bought a second light to use on my baker's rack with some herbs growing year round inside.
    You can get these lights other places, but ACF Greenhouses has very reasonable shipping rates and their turnaround for shipments is really quick. I had a question about a product from a different order with them so I contacted them through the support link on the Web page. They got back to me within a couple of hours; great customer service.
